Bears Helping Bees

With deep local roots, Tahoe Honey Company has always taken a unique approach to its charitable efforts. By selecting causes that impact the immediate Tahoe area and our greater Tahoe Honey family, we hope to make a difference to the people we serve.

It all started when we became aware that one of our patients was battling an advanced form of breast cancer. Tahoe Honey Company organized drives by donating products and proceeds directly to that patient and the family’s mounting medical expenses. Additionally, in the fall of 2018, the team participated in a local breast cancer research and awareness fundraising race. Even though in April of 2019, our friend lost her long battle, it is extremely important to the Tahoe Honey Family to continue to honor her life and legacy of giving back to community and those in need.

During the devasting fire season of the Camp Fire, where hundreds of families lost their homes and dozens of people lost their lives, Tahoe Honey Company raised funds for CalFire through our amazing loyal base.

With the establishment of Bear Helping Bees, Tahoe Honey Company has founded a 501(c) Non-Profit with the hope to expand its charitable footprint to help more people and causes.

As we move forward with this non-profit, we will be opening up board positions for local residents to ensure we are helping causes that directly affect this Tahoe community. We also are seeking feedback from the entire Tahoe Honey Company Family so that we can be sure that we are giving back to the people and organizations that are important to our family.

We are very excited about the future of Bears Helping Bees and what we can accomplish in the near future for this community that we love!
